Freemasons from the Warrington area have contributed to a £35,000 grant to help hundreds of families on the brink of famine in South Sudan.
The money will provide emergency support through the charity Plan International UK, who have people on the ground in Pibor, one of the worst affected regions.
It will provide cooking kits to 525 families.
Plan is delivering vital programmes for nutrition, education, livelihoods, and child protection.
