Cumbria/England - Lake District/Hawkshead Freemasons joint fund new stairlift

Freemasons in the Lake District came together to help make a local market hall more accessible.

A joint funding project between the Hall Trust and Hawkshead Lodge has resulted in a new stairlift at Hawkshead Market Hall.

The hall is both a community asset and the home of Hawkshead’s freemasons.

Both the Hall Trust and Hawkshead Lodge donated £3,000 each to enable a stairlift to be installed.
