Durham/England - Retired detective becomes new head of Durham Freemasons

A retired detective has been appointed the new head of the County Durham Freemasons. John Watts, from Consett, has become the 24th Provincial Grand Master of the Freemasons in the Province of Durham, one of the oldest Masonic provinces in England.

Mr Watts’ investiture took place at the FED in Gateshead on Saturday, June 28, and was attended by more than 750 members of the Freemason community. He said…
