Cheshire Freemasons have been taking part in a national toast to keep spirits high while members isolate at home.
The UK’s 200,000 strong membership traditionally toasts ‘absent Brethren’, remembering those who are unable to attend their meetings in person.
The organisation has now adapted their usual 9pm toast, inviting everyone to join in virtually to toast absent friends and those working in the NHS.
Many of Cheshire’s 5,000 members took part in #TimetoToast, including members from Warrington, sharing pictures on social media and online.
