England - Cornwall Freemasons are helping to alleviate loneliness, seclusion and social isolation

A grant from Cornwall Freemasons to a voluntary organisation will help hundreds of people suffering from loneliness and social isolation to become more connected to their communities.
The grant of almost £78,000 from the Freemasons to Royal Voluntary Service will fund a specially-designed programme which will provide over 200 older people in the area with new opportunities to build social connections and relationships.
Loneliness and social isolation can affect everyone, but older people are particularly vulnerable after the loss of friends and family or reduced mobility.
