England/Exmouth: Freemasons cash helps library fund new community space

A four-figure donation from freemasons will move the town’s library a step closer to creating a new community space.

Exmouth Freemasons has donated £1,500 to the Friends of Exmouth Library which will go towards transforming a room intro a space for community groups to use.

Members of the Freemasons were given a tour of the recently refurbished children’s section – partly funded by the Freemasons and the Province of Devonshire WAKE Fund – before presenting a cheque for the latest donation.

Beatrice Coveney, Exmouth Library Senior Library Supervisor, said: “Exmouth Library would like to thank the Freemason Lodges of Exmouth for their generous contribution to the Friends of Exmouth Library.
