More than 60 bags of shopping were delivered to Warrington Foodbank in a week as a result of an initiative by local Freemasons.
After hearing that the foodbank was running low on stock, Warrington Mason Glen Screeton and his wife, Clare, thought of the idea of collecting a few spare tins or dried goods from Warrington Masons while out and about, and delivering them to the Warrington Foodbank.
Little did he realise that in the first week 62 full bags of shopping would be collected and delivered.
