A local Freemasons group has secured mobility scooter funding for a Dorset woman who had become paralysed.
She became paralysed while having a bath and following tests, was told she had been struck down with transverse myelitis.
A report in Mags4Dorset explained how Twynham Lodge in Christchurch heard about the diagnosis and began fundraising.
It went on to confirm how they sourced a mobility scooter and collected another £450 to help Amy as she starts to rebuild her life.
