Every Sunday lunchtime Horsham Freemasons – who meet at the Normandy Centre, Denne Road –and their wives deliver a warming meal and pudding to vulnerable people in the Horsham area.
So far they have delivered more than 150 hot meals in support of 63 separate households conjunction with The Café, in Nightingale Road, and in support of the local food bank, Horsham Matters.
The menu changes each week and the choice is ordered in advance, but a typical menu might include a choice of beef, pork or chicken, with roast potatoes and two vegetables, followed by syrup sponge or banoffee pie.
