A small charity based in Kingsteignton has received a £15,000 cash boost thanks to local Freemasons.
Ian Kingsbury, the Provincial Grand Master of the Devonshire Freemasons, made the presentation to Kingscare League of Friends.
The Friends began life in 1997, working to support older people to become more active socially and physically in their community.
The charity provides support from trained wellbeing coordinators and more general social services, such as a series of crafting and sports activities, lunch clubs, a memory café in the Avenue Church at Newton Abbot run by specialist staff and satellite services in…
