England - Worthing Freemasons double charity raffle profits to help hospice

Worthing freemasons have been able to double the amount raised in charity raffles by making a successful application for match funding.

The Viatores Lodge, based at the Charmandean Centre in Worthing, raised £540 for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice through raffles and a ladies dinner.

Members then decided to make an application to the Provincial Grand Lodge of Sussex for match funding, which was successful.
