The ‘Eastern Area Team’ hosted an engaging open evening at the Rochdale Masonic Hall, inviting guests to delve into the world of Freemasonry.
The event featured an informative presentation, a guided tour of the historic building, and a Q&A session to shed light on the traditions and activities of Freemasons. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn about the three local charities supported by the organisation – Springhill Hospice, Jolly Josh, and Rochdale Children’s Moorland Home.
The event at Rochdale Masonic Hall opened with assistant provincial grand master John Curry explaining the fundamentals of Freemasonry, its rich history, organisational structure, and charitable endeavours. A segment on ladies’ Masonry followed, highlighting their similar traditions and ceremonies.
