Freemasons from across Cumbria abseiled down London’s Freemasons’ Hall for charity.
The event was in aid of the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) 2027 Festival and saw a team of Freemasons and their supporters take on the challenge.
John Fielding, assistant head of Cumberland and Westmorland Freemasons, was the first to take the plunge, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
He was joined by the head of Cumberland and Westmorland Freemasons, Nick Wilson, and other brethren.
This was no ordinary abseil, as several wives of freemasons also took part, along with a teddy bear.
