London/England – Freemasons support the British Deaf Association with £53,000 grant

Around 50 deaf children under five years old and their families will be able to improve their communication by learning British Sign Language (BSL), thanks to a grant from London Freemasons to the British Deaf Association (BDA).
The £53,000 grant will see a Family Signing at Home project for England and Wales and enable the BDA to recruit BSL teachers to visit families with Deaf children to deliver sessions to both the parents and deaf children to learn BSL and to understand more about Deaf culture.
