One member’s chance diagnosis at a screening event led a community group to join a campaign for routine prostate cancer tests for all men.
Middlesex Freemasons set out to raise £14,000 for the charity Chaps after lodge member Dave Mortimer was diagnosed at an early screening event they had hosted.
Fundraising began in 2023 with an appeal by Freemason Alfie Buckland for a cycle ride to Newquay to honour Dave, who is now recovering.
