Laurel’s South and West Schools have received library grants totaling more than $3,000 from the Montana Masonic Foundation.
The MMF’s Education Grant Program is designed to provide teachers, student aides and/or principals in Montana’s Public Schools an opportunity to apply for a grant to assist under–funded programs in Music, Drama, Science and Library.
Laurel Public Schools K2 Teacher Librarian Erika Frisby applied for the grants last fall after Superintendent Linda Filpula notified district teachers of their availability, and she was recently notified of the award.
