North Yorkshire/England – Freemasons step in to help bowling club buy state-of-the-art mower

Royal Wharfedale Lodge of Masons secured a grant from their head office to buy the lawn mower.
A spokesperson said: “This is real state of the art and apart from just mowing the bowling green, it has six other separate rollers to do all manner of things to keep the green in tip top condition.”
Trevor Backhouse, the Charity Steward of Royal Wharfedale Lodge is pictured here with Nigel Hall who approached Trevor to ask for financial support, along with other members of the Bowling Club.
