“Proclamation of Naples” of the Rite of Memphis-Misraim signed

Yesterday, 23-03-2019, in Naples (Italy) the eminent dignitaries of the Memphis Misraim Rite (filiation of Robert Ambelain) has signed a document of historic value. The document was signed, inter alia, by:
– Subl. Br. Joseph Tsang Mang Kin 33.66.90.97. Grand Hierophant of the Grand Sanctuary of the Indian Ocean,
– Subl. Br. Alfredo Marocchino 33.66.90.97. Grand Hierophant of the Traditional Grand Sanctuary of Italy,
– Subl. Br. Alin Pop Crinu 33.66.90.97. Grand Hierophant of the Traditional Grand Sanctuary of Romania,
The text is a declaration of common principles, the will of cooperation and sharing of knowledge and experience. It is addressed to all the lodges around the Globe working with the Rite of Memphis-Misraim, if they have a real and sincere esoteric and hermetic approach.
Joseph Tsang Mang Kin – the Grand Hierophant of the Grand Sanctuary of the Indian Ocean and General Grand Master of the Traditional Masonic Order, who was one of the originators of the Proclamation, said: “The true and unchallengeable heirs of Garibaldi and Robert Ambelain have now decided to put in place a network for cooperation and have a vision for the future”.

PROCLAMATION OF NAPLES
Descending from the first Seekers standing at the dawn of the world, at the awakening of human consciousness;
Referring symbolically to the lineage of the Hierophants of ancient Egypt who officiated at Abydos, Busiris and Karnak, consecrated the priests and initiated the profane;
Recalling the esoteric vocation of the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis-Misraim;
Reaffirming our commitment to keeping alive the traditional chain of initiatory transmissions;
Remaining therefore, all the more aware than ever of the need to assemble and remain united to resist the attempts of predation, falsification and destabilization threatening our light path and watching us ambushed, like the frightful hydra of Lern;
Keen on fiercely keeping our independence and a vertical serenity for our organizations at any level of operation;
Rejecting forcefully the concept of a single Great Hierophant, who would be in a way World Grand Master with sovereign powers, and would therefore be the only one empowered to dispense the Initiations in the Higher Degrees of Egyptian Masonry;
Recognizing a Great Hierophant, Grand Master General or President of the Sovereign Sanctuary, in each Country, Region or Territory, as sufficient enough to reach our Masonic objectives in their fullness, without falling into the regal faults and excesses;
Reaffirming that each State / Sovereign Sanctuary has the right and the duty to safeguard its Masonic independence and sovereignty;
Recalling, to conclude and rightly, the Rome Manifesto signed on 19 September 2010, which proclaimed the creation of a CONFEDERATION OF TRADITIONAL SOVEREIGN SANCTUARIES – CSST
And taking advantage of our meeting in Naples in Italy on March 24, 2019, E V,
We, Sublime Princes Patriarchs Grand Conservators of the Order and Rite, 95th and last degree of the RAPMM,
All direct descendants of Robert Ambelain filiation, and
Legitimate Heirs and Rulers of the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis-Misraim in different parts of the world including, to date, France, Italy, Madagascar, Mauritius, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, United Kingdom and Romania,
We agree and subscribe to the following articles:
Article 1
We reaffirm our vivid oath to protect, defend and safeguard the Order against impostures, temptations and excesses.
Article 2
We call for the sharing of experiences with the different regular Sovereign Sanctuaries who recognize themselves in this Proclamation.
Article 3
We affirm our willingness to take appropriate steps to harmonize our views and practices, taking into account our obvious cultural and geographical differences, and to present a common front to face the future.
Article 4
We affirm our desire to develop, activate, encourage and facilitate exchanges, meetings and periodic consultations necessary among Sublime Princes Patriarchs Great Conservators of the Order and the Rite, 95th degree of the RAPMM.
Article 5
We call for a reflection on the articulation between this ultimate structure of our Rites, and on the one hand, the symbolic degrees and, on the other hand, those under the jurisdiction of a Supreme Council.
Article 6
We call for meetings with the various paths of Universal Masonry to open up the possibility of enriching exchanges (this in perfect agreement with the old practices of our rites) thereby helping to discover each other’s specificity and so to contribute towards inter-obedience dialogue.
Article 7
We affirm our willingness to work concretely and tirelessly for the enrichment of the Rituals of hermetic Masonry, the true heart of our Rites, with the aim of making our Rites a Sanctuary of deposit, study and transmission of a maximum of traditions from the history of humanity, thus bringing our solid and lasting stone to the construction of Universal Freemasonry.
