Members of Tranent Wombles were left astounded by a generous donation from Masonic lodges throughout East Lothian.
County lodges collected cash raised from fundraisers throughout the year to donate £1,200 to the Tranent-based group.
The Wombles, who do voluntary litter picking and have also renovated a small garden space on Lindores Drive, will use the money to continue operations this year.
