The motto for the United Grand Lodge of England is actually “Audi Vide Tace”, or Hear. See. Be Silent. My opinion remains the same, though that motto does more accurately reflect the concepts of hearing and seeing degree work but not speaking about it much more clearly than Silence & Circumspection does. So, despite my incorrect citation on Silence and Circumspection being a motto for the UGLE, I stand by my interpretation of it. That of practicing the communication process effectively.
