Sizeable donations made to St Christopher's and Nightingale House from North Wales Freemasons

North Wales Freemasons have made seizable donations to two well known Wrexham institutions.

St Christopher’s School and Nightingale House Hospice have received donations of £1,000 and £1,388 respectively.

The St Christopher’s donation will go towards the school’s appeal for a new minibus with a tail lift to support wheelchair using students.

David Thomas, chairman of NWMBA visited St Christopher’s to present the cheque for £1,000 and enjoyed a guided tour of the school.

David said: “The enthusiasm and dedication of the teaching staff to meet the needs of the pupils was clear to see during our visit.

“We are delighted to have played our part in this appeal and look forward to seeing the new minibus in action in the very near future.”

Supported by The Lady Taverners Charity, St Christopher’s were faced with the daunting challenge of raising £18,000 towards the total cost of £60,000.
