A Community group gave a charity helping the deaf and blind a big lift — literally — with a welcome donation.
The town centre HQ of Rotherham Sight & Sound will be able to offer full access for visually-impaired people to all three of the building’s floors thanks to a grant of £34,500 from West Yorkshire Freemasons.
A new lift is being installed that will open up two upper floors to the charity clients, with a target finishing date of this autumn.
