Tasmania – Freemasons donate more than 1000 blankets to Salvation Army

For many, a blanket might not seem that important.
But for those sleeping rough or facing financial stress, a warm blanket can go a long way.
With the primary goal of supporting communities, Freemasonry Tasmania have stepped-up to ensure more than a thousand people are kept a little bit warmer.
The organisation have donated 1002 wool-mixed blankets to the Salvation Army, with 340 distributed in Launcsteston, 340 in Hobart and the remainder in the state’s North West.
Grand master John Slore said charitable work remained a primary focus for the organisation.
