Tennessee/US – ‘Like the phoenix rising‘ | Masonic Lodge reopens after being destroyed in 2022 fire

A fire back in October 2022 rendered the Powell Valley Masonic Lodge a complete loss. It was a moment that former lodge master Gary Mayes remembers very clearly.
“We didn’t know what happened at that time. We just know there was fire and it totally destroyed our lodge,” Mayes said. “We didn’t have anything we could salvage.”
That building stood in that location for roughly 60 years before the fire…
