The Kansas Masonic Foundation Inc., the charitable arm for the Grand Lodge of Kansas, its 180 statewide Masonic Lodges and Kansas Masons, announce the award of more than 200 scholarships totaling $200,000 to students in Kansas.
The scholarships, which ranged from $500-2,500, were awarded to graduating high school seniors and students already attending two- and fouryear colleges and universities, including junior colleges and vocational and technical colleges, throughout the state.
Hancock Lodge #311 at Fort Leavenworth received two scholarship awards for Ethan Conners, recipient of the Cynthia Ruth Russel Scholarship Award in the amount of $1000, and Josephine Weilemann, recipient of a $1000 Legacy Scholarship Award.
