50K Souls of Nash, Texas, teamed up with East Texas Food Bank to add for the first time a second food distribution point for the area’s needy. Previously, 50K Souls had been distributing periodically on Saturdays at its West 7th Street location.
The group is distributing out of Border Masonic Lodge at 918 Westlawn Drive every second Thursday.
“Our donations vary every occasion,” said Tabitha Johnson of East Texas Food Bank. “Today, each visitor got a bag of mixed fruit, a bag of potatoes and a bag of veggies.”
