  • Thanksgiving Message November 26, 2024
My dear Brothers and Masonic Family Members, Perhaps the two most important words in any and all languages is “Thank You”. Giving thanks and showing appreciation should not be relegated to a single day. Granted, Thanksgiving Day is indeed a very special and significant time for all of us to pause and reflect upon the […]

Dear Brethren and Friends of Freemasonry, The very beginning of the month of November observes two of the most important acts and obligations of citizenry, which we as patriotic and country-loving Americans exemplify. The first is the exercise of one’s right to Vote; and the second is paying homage, respect and gratitude on Veteran’s Day […]

My Dear Brethren: As we are soon entering upon a most solemn holiday, Yom Kippur, we are reminded once again that tragedies do not take a holiday. This past week our sister Grand Jurisdictions of Florida, Georgia and North Carolina were delivered a devastating natural disaster. This Region was hit by Hurricane Helene with multiple […]

  • Untitled September 11, 2024
Dear Brethren, September 11th is indeed one of the most somber and riveting days in the life of our beloved Nation. • Lodge of Excellence August 23, 2024
My Brothers, We define “excellence” as the quality of being outstanding—the very best. As Masons, we strive for this ideal, even knowing that it may be an elusive goal. Excellence is not a destination but a journey—an ongoing effort to reach and surpass our own standards. Many Lodges have found success on this journey, while […]

  • On Politics and Religion on Social Media August 12, 2024
My Dear Brethren: One of the basic attributes that differentiates our beloved Masonic Fraternity from most other civic and social organizations is our singular code of behavior that enhances the promotion of harmony and brotherhood amongst our membership by strictly precluding debate and discourse on politics and religion within the walls of the Masonic Lodge. […]

  • Message on Masonic Charity July 9, 2024
My Brothers: Charity and Relief are at the heart of our Masonic obligations and order. We are charged not only to practice this in our Lodges, but also in our individual actions. It has been commonly stated that Freemasons in the United States provide $2 million to charity — every day. In New York, this […]

  • 4th of July Message July 3, 2024
Dear Brethren and Friends, As I write this message sitting in my den with pipe in hand, my mind drifts toward the sounds and smells of summer wafting through the open window. Listening to the familiar drone of the chirping crickets, the barking of dogs, distant notes upon the breeze of a neighborhood carnival and […]
