JOHANN CHRISTIAN BACH – A FREEMASON

JOHANN CHRISTIAN BACH - A FREEMASON
Johann Christian Bach (1735-1782), painted by Thomas Gainsborough, 1776

One of the most versatile composers of the second half of the 18th century, son of Johann Sebastian Bach. The style of his music, often referred to as galant, derives from orchestral Baroque music and, above all, opera.

Initiated into “Lodge of Nine Muses No. 235”, London.
