Christmas came early to five Bedfordshire food banks when they received generous donations from Bedfordshire Freemasons.
Instead of receiving the usual food parcels, each food bank was gifted with £1,000 to provide vital services during the festive season.
Tony Henderson, the head of Bedfordshire Freemasons said: “No one should go hungry at any time of the year, but especially not at Christmas. We hope our donation helps fewer families to have to make a choice between heating or eating over this Christmas period.”
