On June 17, members of Cranbrook Masonic Lodge #34 placed a marker at the site of the historic lodge hall in Fort Steele Heritage Town.
The lodge there was established in 1899 and was the first Masonic Lodge in this area.
It was merged with Cranbrook Lodge #34 in 1944.
