Head of Cumbria Freemasons, Bill Bewley teamed up with Barry Kirkbride the head of the Mark Freemasons to donate a new defibrillator.
This followed a request from the Solway Aviation Museum for assistance purchasing a defibrillator.
A brief discussion within Cumbria Freemasons resulted in joint funding for the provision of the machine, resulting in a total cost of £1614.
The museum is located near Carlisle Airport and is run entirely by volunteers.
