The Cary-Grove Masonic Lodge No. 1157 and the Oneida Masonic Lodge No. 337 in Cary recently awarded four scholarships to young people in pursuit of further education.
Families of the recipients were treated to a dinner as two scholarships were presented by Cary-Grove Lodge and one by Oneida.
These scholarships were made available through the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of Illinois the chartering organization for the individual lodges.
Currently, there are 460 lodges in the state with more than 50,000 Masons.
