Somerset/England - Freemasons Donate £5,000 to SWALLOW Charity for Forest Group Project

The Somerset Freemasons have recently made a substantial donation to SWALLOW, a charity dedicated to assisting adults with learning disabilities. This generous contribution of £5,000 will fund the Forest Group Project, aimed at facilitating interaction with nature and the acquisition of outdoor skills for these individuals. The donation was equally split between the Somerset Masonic Charity and the Masonic Charitable Foundation, showcasing a unified effort to support community initiatives.

Set to begin in April, the Forest Group & Woodwork Project proposes a holistic approach to learning and therapy. Participants will immerse themselves in nature, learning skills such as plant and tree identification, shelter construction, fire making, cooking, and…
