Somerset Freemasons has donated £10,000 to the Queen Camel Community Land Trust to repair damage caused by the flash floods in May.
The funds will aid in extensive repairs to The Old School, a Grade II Listed main building in the village, purchased by the society in 2019 to serve as a community hub.
Notably, the generous donation will relocate the day care centre within the site, install new disability facilities and upgrade the heating system and kitchen area.
