England - Freemasons charity endeavours during Covid 19 include 18 million hours of volunteering

Volunteers, community members and charity champions have been uniting to show their support during the greatest global pandemic in living memory, with Freemasons donating a total of £1 million to the cause.

The money raised, alongside the incredible amount of time invested into volunteering to help those in need has been a tremendous show of community spirit.

The charity, which has its main hub in London has been helping communities in critical areas including food banks, support for unpaid carers, personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies for hospitals and hospices, support for women’s refuges, and funds for NHS workers, ambulances and…
