The Nickel Masonic Lodge No. 427 has partnered with Peavey Mart of Sudbury to make a donation of much-needed winter gear.
Winter clothing, along with blankets and sleeping bags, were donated to the L’association des jeunes de la rue “Red Coats,” a non-profit outreach team that works with Sudbury’s vulnerable population.
“Through the generosity members of Nickel Lodge and brethren of the Sudbury Manitoulin District Masons, Order of the Eastern Star – Algoma 139, friends, and associates collected a very full two van loads of essential items that was delivered to the Sudbury Red Coats,” reads a release from the lodge. “It was in time to replenish their stock of essential items in time for the coldest time of the winter.”
