The Widows’ Sons are an international group of motorcycle enthusiasts, comprised of Freemasons. It was founded in 1998 with the original purpose of providing aid and assistance to the orphans and widows of Master Masons.
This was expanded on in 2001, to provide a social outlet for Freemasons who wished to ride with their brothers, and introduce the world of motorcycles and freemasonry to each other.
The “Got Your Six” Poker Run was established with the goal of raising funding for the Wounded Warriors and the Shriners Hospital for Children.
“I’m going to be honest, I don’t think our government is looking after the Wounded Warriors the way they should,” said Henry Goeree, president of the Widows’ Sons. “(And) the Shriners Hospital is a very important thing.”
“We have to look after our kids and our Wounded Warriors.”
Starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, bikers began rolling out…
